Rock solid takes on another meaning when the Allco team describes construction of the Fine Arts Center on the campus of Lamar University in Port Arthur, Texas. Built just a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico this project was designed to withstand the strongest of hurricane force winds. The building is constructed with single-lift concrete tilt wall panels which are each an astounding 52 feet high and 1 foot thick. The Fine Arts Center is home to a state of the art sound system, auditorium, recording studio, black box theater, dance studio, classrooms, and office space. Students will continue to enjoy the luxury, functionality, and safety which this facility provides.
